About The FFM  The Friday Flea Market had humble beginnings and we have high hopes that it will remain humble. When the FFM held it's first organized flea market early in 2008, I had no idea that it would grow the way it has. Our growth is credited to our sellers, our cross-promoting organizations, and to the kindness of many, many people who have donated time and work.
Why is it called Friday Flea Market? It started out as two blogger friends having a little sale on their blogs every Friday. A couple weeks into it, other bloggers were asking to join us in our little flea market. As we grew, we all helped promote each others friday sales. Before long, there were so many we decided to have one central site to advertise everyone.
It is our goal to promote the businesses of our fellow bloggers and the friendships that the blogging commuinty has fostered. To that end, we strive to keep our costs low so we are sometimes dependant on the graciousness of others in the giving of time, or helping to advertise. We are so grateful for each one of these blessings! I am a firm believer that lovely given will be lovely received. And that is the core of the Friday Flea Market.
